Grant Approval Process
- Teachers/administrators notify grant department of intention
to apply for grant funding.
- Grant Proposal Summary (GPS) submitted
for all potential grant applications
- Proposal reviewed by Grant
Specialist to determine alignment with Board’s Strategic Plan;
District’s TCSSP Plan; and School Improvement Plans.
- Director
of Schools approves grant request and places on monthly board
agenda
- Board votes to approve “permission to pursue” grant
- Once grant
is awarded board votes “permission to accept” grant
- Budget amendment
submitted for board approval
- Project implemented per grantor’s
guidelines and in compliance with Board Policies and Procedures
