Reward School: Schools that earn an overall rating of 3.1 or higher across multiple federal accountability performance indicators and student groups, and are not identified as CSI, TSI, or ATSI schools are recognized as Reward schools. Schools receiving this designation typically demonstrate high levels of performance and/or growth across all indicators.

Sycamore Elementary is committed to the total education of each individual student. Classes and activities are provided for intellectual, physical, social and emotional development. The curriculum is designed to meet the guidelines set by the Tennessee State Department of Education. Students are exposed to many additional activities designed to enrich and develop awareness in their lives. Our aim is to instill in each child an appreciation of integrity, knowledge, and intellectual curiosity throughout life. We believe this aim can best be achieved through a child's direct personal interactions with his environment and fellow human beings. The role of Sycamore faculty and staff is to assist, counsel, motivate, and evaluate during these interactions. Sycamore Elementary School takes pride in our tradition of excellence.
